Why now?…
v 750ml v 375ml – 2016 was a high quality year. This enabled the decision to tirage a portion directly into 375mL. Time on lees has since proven this to be a good year and good decision, with both the 750mL and the 375mL working nicely with the now established style – 4.5 years on tirage-bottle-lees and zero dosage on disgorging. The full bottle (750mL) is up to third disgorging, and is available by the glass at your favourite restaurants, some independent bottle shops, and online by the box.
The half bottle (375mL – 3.6 standard drinks) was disgorged and dressed in June 2022. As hoped and expected it has developed bottle complexity at an excelarated rate, giving a glimpse of how the 750ml offering might look as 10yo wine. It is drinking wonderfully and is at its’ best drink now stage. The next release of 375mL will be in a 4 years time, which will be the 2022 vintage.
